Bringing Leonard Cohen’s final works to life visually was both an artistic challenge and an honor. Partnering with Sony Music Canada and the Leonard Cohen Estate, we set out to craft a series of films that reimagine his posthumous album, Thanks for the Dance, through a fresh, cinematic lens. The first in this series, Happens to the Heart, directed by the brilliant Daniel Askill, is a testament to the power of collaboration—where music, film, and storytelling intersect to create something timeless.
